Nanostructured Optical Interference Filters for Aviation Security

Lamda Guard has developed an optically transparent thin film filter that selectively blocks narrow light frequencies. The metaAir filter consists of an array of nano-particles of specific geometry and can be adhesively applied on existing surfaces such as cockpit windows or windshields.

Nanostructured Optical Interference Filters for Laser Safety

Inspired from the patent-pending laser protection filters for aviation, we have developed an optically transparent film specifically designed for the protection of law enforcement officers from laser attacks. The film consist of multiple coatings of specially designed dielectric materials that are applied onto existing helmet and visor assemblies, providing a universal solution to the problem of laser attacks on individuals. Simultaneously blocking multiple wavelengths of light, the filter is passive requiring no power source or user intervention.
